As part of another activity of INPE’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (LIAREA), Dener Mendes presented the work “Sampling Process to Support an Artificial Intelligence Approach for Determining the Structural Parameters of Open Star Clusters” at the XLVIII Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Astronomical Society (SAB), held from September 28 to October 2, 2025, in Caxambu, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The SAB Meeting is one of the most important astronomy events in Brazil.

Dener Mendes is a master’s student in PGCAP/INPE, and the work was co-authored by Mateus Angelo from CEFET-MG, who is also his master's co-advisor.
